The visit begins at 11:30 in the historical hamlet of Ama. After a walk through the vineyard, you will be accompanied to visit the fermentation cellar and the aging cellar to learn more about the wine production at Ama. The discovery of the estate, and of the story of the family who owns it, includes the exciting unveiling of site-specific artworks that constitute the Castello di Ama contemporary art collection, realized by some of the most renowned artists at the international level who have been invited by the owner Lorenza Sebasti, to create on-site installations conceived in dialogue with the genius loci.
Continue with a private tasting of four wines in a charming room situated in Villa Pianigiani dating back to the XVIII century, and culminate with a paring lunch at “Il Ristoro di Villa Pianigiani”, the restaurant of the estate. During lunch, the wine experience will continue with a selection of another representative Castello di Ama wines in pairing with a four-course tasting menu.
